Fire Safety Induction Development Training


Aimed At:
Anyone who has responsibility for carrying out basic Fire Safety induction and training for staff in their workplace


Content:
The first half of the day will be an IFE approved Fire Marshal course, modified to suit the client.

The second part of the day will be spent with managers assisting them in the implementation of an induction plan for staff.

This will encompass:

• Company fire safety policy

• Company fire safety procedures

• Roles and responsibilities given to specific employees relating to fire

• The fire precautions in the building/s concerned

• Key issues from the key risk assessments

The aim of this session will be to assist the managers in adopting and delivering a legally acceptable form of instruction, information and induction to all who require it. A CD will be provided to back up the session. This will contain:

• A summary of the legal position regarding fire training and induction

• An FPA form which can be used for induction purposes

• A copy of UK Fire Training fire extinguisher and fire safety awareness handouts

These documents can be used along with your own information to create a relevant induction.

Outcome:
On completion, delegates will be able to set up and run basic Fire Safety induction sessions in their workplace within current legislation.

Duration: 1 Day (6½ hours)

Qualification: IFE approved certificate of attendance
