Content:
The course consists of:
• Fire precautions regulations/legislation
• Chemistry of fire and how it spreads
• Types and classifications of fire
• Common causes of fire
• Hazard spotting/hazard reduction
• Fire extinguishers: Theory
• Fire extinguishers: Practical use
Outcome: Once complete, staff members who have attended this course will be able to apply good fire safety practice at work and correctly operate fire-fighting equipment. All delegates receive a comprehensive course handbook.
Duration: 2 hours
Qualification: IFE approved certificate of attendance
